The Central American Commission for Maritime Transport (COCATRAM), as Technical Secretariat of the Port Environmental Management Network, REGAP, is developing a Workshop Seminar “Port Environmental Management and Green Port Program” to be held in the conference room of Nicaragua Shipping Enterprise, Managua from June 4 to 7, 2024.
The purpose of REGAP is to strengthen capacities and training in prevention, preparedness and response strategies related to maritime and port activities that represent a risk of pollution.
The activity includes the validation of the port environmental management index and the evaluation of the progress of the action plans. The National Port Company (EPN), the General Directorate of Aquatic Transportation (DGTA-MTI) and MARENA are participating in the activity; and the following are also participating in the activity.
