Mr. José Dopeso, COCATRAM’s Director of Maritime and Port Affairs, participated in the activities of the “11th Ordinary Meeting of the RAC/REMPEITC-CARIBE Steering Committee“, a structure of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in the Caribbean with which COCATRAM maintains a cooperative relationship.
During the activity, Mr. Carlos Salgado, Chief of the Technical Cooperation Section for Latin America and the Caribbean of the IMO, Mr. Laura Rivera, Deputy Director of the Merchant Marine of Honduras, Mr. Miguel Moyano of ARPEL and the Consultant Carlos Sagrega met with COCATRAM.
RAC/REMPEITC-CARIBE is the Regional Marine Pollution Emergency, Information and Training Centre – Caribe contributes to the sustainability of the marine environment in the Wider Caribbean Region by assisting countries to implement International Conventions created to reduce pollution from ships.
