The Central American Commission for Maritime Transport (COCATRAM), holds an outreach meeting with the organization Global Support and Development (GSD) with the objective of establishing coordination and strategic alliances with key actors involved in disaster preparedness and response actions in Central America.
The meeting was led by Meghan Lopez, Chief of Strategy GSD and other staff members. During the meeting the organization shared that it has a Humanitarian Vessel and an extensive maritime collaboration program.
GSD is a U.S. humanitarian organization whose mission is to collaborate with local, national and regional communities to improve resilience to crises through rapid response, disaster preparedness and climate adaptation to reduce the impact of disasters, based on local leadership and external support.
